EMT Program Overview
Our Hybrid EMT Program is designed to prepare students for certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), as defined and recognized by the Virginia Office of EMS and the National Registry of EMTs. The course content includes the knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency medical care at the basic life support level with an emergency service. We deliver the course in a hybrid format requiring student self-study followed by weekly in-person labs to reinforce and enhance learning outcomes. Our program is not affiliated with any rescue squad, locality, or educational institution, and does not qualify students for academic credit.
